About me

At university I decided to study politics and culture studies and I became very interested in human behaviour and sociology. With my bachelor thesis I dived into the fascinating world of sociology, culture studies and psychotherapy and focused on the role that culture plays within our cosmopolitan and globalised society in shaping human behaviours.

After university, I chose to work in marketing, merchandising and buying as a practical application of understanding and shaping consumer behaviour through creative works.
I came across the concept of User Experience design when I was working at Bally, back in my home country of Switzerland where - as part of the marketing team - we were asked to work on a digital in-store experience with the iPad.

Then, when I came to London, I had a closer encounter with the fascinating world of human centred design.
I’ve been working as UX/Product and Service Designer since 2014 and thoroughly enjoying my job. I’ve been working both in-house and agency side. I love working in start-ups or small businesses where there is speed and thirst for innovation.

I now specialise in health, education and sustainability. I am lucky to bring my passion for design and innovation to sectors that are very important to me and can really have an impact on people’s lives.

Product Owner & Researcher at Vidacycle

We were very happy with the UX/UI project we delivered with Leti on board! Leti was a pleasure to work with, always keeping us in the loop! Leti was always very accommodating and took feedback into consideration when working with our team. This ensured we produced a top quality dashboard that really reflected the users needs.

Experience Design Director & Founder at Else

Leti will be a great addition to any team and comes highly recommended by me because she has a tenacity that you don't often see. She really wants to do well, do great work and understand more – what better attributes do you need?

Natalie Curant

Principal Experience Architect at Else

eti worked in my team at Else, and so I had the privilege of mentoring her for 6 months. We worked directly together on a project for Loterie Romande redesigning the Sports Bet section of their website, and she worked on some other smaller projects.

She tackles every new challenge in a methodical way. Gathering knowledge from her seniors as well as doing her own research. She always starts with paper, pens and post-it-notes. Advice I've always give to junior and mid-weight UX’ers. She takes time to map out the problem and her understanding before diving into wireframes. She is proactive but takes direction well and keeps her seniors updated on progress. I particularly like that Leti encourages collaboration within her team. She's keen to share and keen to learn. She comes up with good ideas that satisfy objectives with consideration for future ambitions.

Leti is a real asset to any team. She's making great strides as a UX'er, is confident presenting her work and has a real positive energy about her. She brings positivity to even the most challenging of situations. I have a huge amount of respect for Leti and have no doubt she'll be hugely successful in her career.

Jack Lear

Customer Experience Manager, Arcadia

Letizia's attention for detail, diligence, and conscientious approach makes her a pleasure to work with on UX projects. Always eager to learn, explore new way to solve old problems, and push herself and the people around her to find the best solutions possible.

Not only does Letizia show a great level of empathy for the user and can easily put herself in the shoes of someone else, but also brings that empathy to how she works with a team - ensuring conversations around feedback is considered and measured, that people feel involved, and that the best ideas are supported.

A skilled and always improving UX'er, with an understanding of the emotional and commercial/business sides of the discipline. I hope we have the opportunity to work again in the near future.

Why UX?

I really enjoy and value the human centred approach in the creative and thinking process. Within the incredible development and impact of technology in our daily life, I am always amazed by the key role that UX plays and by its huge contribution towards the development and creation of products that are designed FOR people.

What is important to me?

The most important thing to me is to keep developing: as an active listener for the user, a great thinker and creator and as someone who can provide innovative solutions that make a difference in people's lives.

I enjoy the versatility that UX offers: the opportunity to design solutions for so many different industries and users. I particularly enjoy sketching ideas, getting creative with solutions and testing them with people. I love working in a team, sharing techniques, developing skills and learning from each other.

Other things I love

I am a passionate Yogi and Yoga teacher, and when I am not thinking of new creative solutions, I am either practicing on my mat or sharing this ancient tradition and practice with other people in corporates, private sessions or open classes. My favourite part of Yoga is its philosophy, it's incredibly powerful and it's still so modern and useful. I am also particularly drawn to the language of Yoga, that is why I am currently studying Sanskrit at SOAS.

Another passion of mine is music and voice. A few years ago I had the chance to publish some music in Switzerland and I now continue to write new songs in my spare time. I have also been teaching singing for almost 8 years.

I am insatiable traveller and love taking photos which represents traditions, different cultures and beautiful scenery.

My favourite places are:

Bali, Petra, Hampstead Heath, Apulia, Steward Island (New Zealand)
